Director of Bands

Nick Scroggins serves as Director of Bands at New Albany High School, where he conducts and leads a variety of instrumental ensembles. Prior to his involvement with New Albany, he built and expanded the band program at Parkview Middle School in Jeffersonville, IN.

Mr. Scroggins' performance experience includes a variety of venues across the United States and Europe, and he is currently the Assistant Concertmaster for the Commonwealth Brass Band. Throughout his career, he has been actively involved with the National Association for Music Education, the Indiana Bandmasters Association, the Indiana State School Music Association and currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Indiana Music Education Association. Mr. Scroggins received his Bachelor of Arts degree in music education from Ball State University.
